Sagemcom Visual Layout

Sagemcom is an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company building infrastructure for energy & telecom service providers.

Sagemcom supports public and private rural electrification initiatives by rolling out end-to-end renewable energy minigrids and extending power grids in Sub-Saharan Africa to make universal energy access a reality. Sagemcom has also been leading the telecom tower and fiber network construction markets, hereby bridging the gap between the telecom & energy worlds.

Sagemcom runs operations in 50 countries across the world, including Kenya and 19 other countries in Africa.

It’s always a challenge to depict your business offerings to a wider audience, particularly when it involves larger infrastructure work and not just a single product. 3D printing helped Sagemcom visualise their offering in an interactive, fun and easy to understand manner.

Sagemcom approached us with the idea of creating a 3D scale model of a typical site installation with some of the services they offer. We started off with some pictures to guide us on what the model should display, and what the final outcome was to achieve.

We managed to create a miniature model of all their product and service offerings and we were able to easily depict this on a single board.

Do you find it hard to describe what you do to a wider audience? Why not 3D print a visual representation and communicate more effectively.
